Mild winter weather is keeping construction on track in Bend, with crews repairing roads and advancing work at Redmond Airport — including a new shipping container walkway.

Monkless Belgian Ales is collecting new, unwrapped dog toys for Humane Society dogs to brighten their holiday season.

The Longest Night vigils will take place on Dec.

Youth scout troops will pick up Christmas trees for recycling from Bend residents on the weekends of Dec.
27-28 and Jan. 3-4. Residents should leave their trees curbside by 8 a.m. while scouts also request a donation of 13 dollars to support troop activities.
