A bronze memorial plaque honoring Barry Washington Jr. will be unveiled in late September or early October near the corner of NW Wall Street — NW Oregon Avenue, where he was fatally shot on Sept.
19, 2021. His family and community chose the design and quickly raised funds for the $3,800 plaque — which will be set on a concrete post to keep the sidewalk clear.
