Happy Trails Horse Rescue in Tumalo received a grant from The Team Depot Foundation and Home Depot Bend to repaint its barn red on Saturday, creating a safer space for rescued horses, volunteers and visitors.

Volunteers helped with the project, and the public may view the updated barn — Open Barn Day is set for October 11 from 12 to 2 p.m.
