- ➤ The High Desert Food & Farm Alliance is awarding $25,000 in on-farm efficiency grants (up to $3,000 per farm) to 10 Central Oregon farms this winter. The funds support projects aimed at extending growing seasons and boosting sustainability for local agriculture. KTVZ
- ➤ On Tap in northeast Bend hosts a Fat Tuesday fundraiser today from 5 to 7 p.m. that donates $1 per pint to St. Charles Integrative Therapies in honor of a community member’s cancer journey — live music, king cakes and New Orleans-style specials round out the event. Central Oregon Daily

- ➤ Five local beer and cider makers have formed the Oregon Beverage Collective (OBC) to pool resources and keep each brand unique. The alliance, which includes Crux Fermentation Project, Silver Moon Brewing, Cascade Lakes Brewing, GoodLife Brewing and Tumalo Cider, may spur innovation while prices remain unchanged.
