Good morning, Bend. Here's your local news at a glance for Tuesday, the 3rd of February.

COMMUNITY NEWS

  • On Feb. 5, the Deschutes League will host a free info session at 11:30 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on Skyline Ranch Road, where CASA of Central Oregon will share its work in foster care advocacy — with updates from program coordinators Laura Fitzgerald and Kinsey Turnsplenty.  KTVZ

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Square Baby, a Bend baby food company, unveiled its playful Super Bowl ad 'Deez Nuts' on Feb. 2 to promote early allergen exposure and reduce food allergy risks. The 2-minute rap video will air during the halftime show in select local markets (using science-backed guidelines to encourage early peanut introduction).  Central Oregon Daily

CULTURE NEWS

  • Godsmack announced its upcoming 'The Rise of Rock World Tour 2026' featuring Stone Temple Pilots and Dorothy — the band will perform at Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend on Sept. 22 while presale tickets open today at 10:00 a.m. local with general sales starting Feb. 6 through Ticketmaster.  KTVZ
  • Visit Bend announced on Monday that it is accepting applications for $300,000 in Cultural Tourism Fund grants — a program designed to support arts and culture events and attract visitors during the winter shoulder season. The grant program is open through March 27.  Bend Bulletin

ENVIRONMENT NEWS
