STAR-Trail H: Scouting and Planning

About this event

Lets take a break from building and go for a hike up on Trail H (3 Creeks Trail).

What: We will be looking at the proposed trail corridor, where it crosses other trails and roads. These spot will need some significant planning given the intersections and elevation drop. Plan on walking most of the time. (The path is not clear so be prepared to climb over logs and walk through ice and snow)

• From Sisters go south on Three Creek Road for 11 miles.

• Turn left onto 1620.

• Stay on this road for .2 miles, at the Y in the road stay to the right.

• Drive for another .2 miles until you see a small pull out on the right.

What to bring: REQUIRED

• W*ater*

• Snacks

• Warm clothes (layers)

• Sturdy, close toed shoes

• Backpack to carry your things

• Long pants
