About this event
We are excited to invite you to the upcoming Step Into Reentry Simulation , presented in partnership with East Cascades Works, Changing Patterns, and Oregon Corrections Enterprises (OCE). This unique event offers a hands-on opportunity to walk in the shoes of someone returning to life after incarceration and to experience firsthand the real-world barriers faced during reentry.
What to Expect: Navigate challenges such as obtaining identification, meeting parole conditions, finding employment, transportation, and managing limited time, money, and options. This simulation builds understanding and practical insight that can directly inform policy, programs, and employer practices. Reentry success depends on all systems working together; let’s shape solutions as a community!
We welcome parole and probation professionals, WorkSource employees, nonprofit staff, and anyone passionate about supporting successful reentry. Please feel free to spread the word and share this invitation with your networks.
