Class Description:

NRP isa training course created by the American Academy of Pediatrics. The course teaches healthcare professionals how to safely and effectively resuscitate newborns who face emergency and life-threatening complications at birth.

Facilitator Bio:

My name is Rachael. I'm a lifelong learner that has more than 15 years of experience caring specifically for critically ill newborns (and over 20 years total experience in the medical field). Throughout my career, I've worked in NICUs all across the country, attended hundreds upon hundreds of deliveries and performed countless neonatal resuscitations. I've also spent several years flying in an EC-135 medical helicopter and a Pilatus PC-12 fixed-wing as a flight nurse.Teaching has become one of the most meaningful parts of my career.
