In Person The First Weekend of Every Month!
This in person class is meant for those wanting to know more about birth, pain management, partner involvement, what positions are best and how to have a positive birth experience.
Starting in November we have updated our classes to add an additional class on breastfeeding. September and October classes are Saturday and Sunday only with a shorter discussion on breastfeeding.
This class is broken up into 3 days. The first day with Megan birth, stages of labor, coping skills and position guide. The second day with Jaime covers newborn care, bringing baby home, safe sleep and postpartum healing. The 3rd day is online with Willow and it covers the transition to breastmilk from colostrum, getting a good latch, setting up a successful breastfeeding journey, pumping and bottle feeding for partners.
Please note, signing up for Sunday will automatically enroll you in Sunday and Tuesday for the online breastfeeding class.
Partners are encouraged to join and do not need to sign up separately.
Need to cancel? We offer a partial refund if you email us 4 weeks prior to the class. If it is less than 4 weeks before class, we can move you to a different class however no refunds available.

Facilitator Bio:
Central Oregon Birth - Jaime Collado and Megan Mendoza are local doulas. They have a passion for working with expecting families in Central Oregon. They believe everyone has the right to feel valued and supported during pregnancy, labor and postpartum. This is how they came to open Central Oregon Doulas. Aside from helping more families get access to support, they teach monthly birth education and newborn care classes and hold donation-based infant wearing classes.
"We love this community so much and want the growing families to have the access to everything they might need. That is what were providing" says Megan
"Community is everything" says Jaime "So many new parents here don't live near their families. I love being able to connect new families so they can grow their community."
