The Wonder of Storytelling with Matthew Friday

About this event

This event is suggested for elementary school-aged children, but open to all. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Storytelling is one of the oldest ‘analog’ artforms in human history. It retains its power to entertain, educate and delight audiences of all ages. To celebrate the wonder of storytelling, Storyteller and local teacher Matthew Friday will tell some traditional magical folk tales from around the world. In this session, the children in the audience will have opportunities to participate as little or as much as they'd like, including being actors in the story! Anyone who loves stories is welcome. You are never too old for a good tale. Some snacks provided.
