- ➤ The Humane Society of Central Oregon held a busy Saturday offering a walk-in clinic where pets received $50 exams, rabies shots, microchips, and deworming—along with food assistance for families—while Puppy Palooza allowed adoptions of cookie-themed puppies with spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchips and supplies. - ➤ Harper Charter won a 6-player football semifinal at Baker High School on Saturday by beating Sherman 27-6 and reaching the state championship for the second year in a row—key plays by Maddoxx Martinez and Richard Joyce boosted the victory. The Oregonian
- ➤ On Saturday at Summit High School — Crosspoint Christian beat Dufur 44-8 in the Class 1A semifinals with Nate Gibson scoring five touchdowns to build a strong lead by halftime. Dufur suffered its first loss of the season — ending their 10-1 run as Crosspoint Christian advanced toward the state title game. The Oregonian
