EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Bend guitar maker Breedlove Guitars will donate 75 guitars to six Bend-La Pine schools, and co-owners Pete Mroz and Shannon Pollard will present the instruments at a ceremony on November 13th at 7 p.m. at Mountain View High School. The donation, valued at nearly $65,000, will include repair service for the guitars—an effort that supports music programs locally—emphasizing the company’s commitment to education. KTVZ
- ➤ Bend-La Pine Schools announced that after the current school year, Realms High School with 104 students will merge with Bend Tech Academy at 1291 NE 5th Street and Realms Middle School with 140 students will move to Buckingham Elementary at 62560 Hamby Road — a change made after a review showed that leasing space was no longer cost effective.
