ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A 29-year-old snowboarder who recently moved to Central Oregon fell and hit a rock on Mt. Bachelor Sunday afternoon at 12:28 p.m.—15 search and rescue volunteers used a snowcat to bring him to safety before he was transported to St. Charles Medical Center-Bend for evaluation.  Central Oregon Daily
  • A 29-year-old snowboarder was injured on the Cinder Cone at Mt. Bachelor Sunday afternoon and was rescued by 15 Search and Rescue volunteers who stabilized him before Bend Fire and Rescue took him to St. Charles Medical Center for further treatment.  KTVZ

SPORTS NEWS

  • Snow began accumulating at Mt. Bachelor and signals that the upcoming ski season will open with favorable conditions. The resort offers season passes and daily lift tickets online—preparing for its official opening on November 28.  KTVZ
