- ➤ A 29-year-old snowboarder who recently moved to Central Oregon fell and hit a rock on Mt. Bachelor Sunday afternoon at 12:28 p.m.—15 search and rescue volunteers used a snowcat to bring him to safety before he was transported to St. Charles Medical Center-Bend for evaluation. - ➤ A 29-year-old snowboarder was injured on the Cinder Cone at Mt. Bachelor Sunday afternoon and was rescued by 15 Search and Rescue volunteers who stabilized him before Bend Fire and Rescue took him to St. Charles Medical Center for further treatment. KTVZ
