EDUCATION NEWS

  • Researchers at Oregon State University said public investments have reduced preschool care shortages so that only one in four counties now face challenges compared to half two years ago, with child care deserts falling from 18 to nine counties. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Forest Service will transfer 48 acres (north of Skyliners Road next to the current facility) from Deschutes National Forest to Bend to expand the Outback Water Filtration Facility, and the public may comment on a draft environmental assessment.
