The Bend Police Department is hosting its annual National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug.
4 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mountain View High School — the free event will include live music, lawn games, face painting, vehicle displays, plus a sensory friendly hour from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
From July 22 through July 25, the Jefferson County Fair and Rodeo will feature a carnival with the Bend-based 541 Bounce Experience offering waterslides, bounce houses and interactive games (including family movie nights with concessions) to provide fun for all ages.
The Family Access Network received a $50,000 grant from the Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation to provide essential services like housing + utility assistance + clothing + school supplies + youth programs for children and families across Central Oregon.
