Arnold Irrigation District shut off water deliveries to over 600 ranches, farms and properties in southwest and southeast Bend on July 2 at 5 a.m. due to a historic drought and low snowpack, and it said limited deliveries may resume around Sept.
15 if river flows improve.
Central Oregon wildfire season shows a near-normal number of starts with 124 fires so far, yet far fewer acres burned than the 10-year average of 19,000 acres.

On Wednesday, July 8, the Oregon Public Utility Commission approved updated wildfire mitigation plans for Idaho Power, Portland General Electric, and Pacific Power.
