- ➤ Portland wine club Amaterra Kitchen and Social Club expanded to Bend when it opened its members-only spot at 909 NW Bond St on June 6 — it took over the space that housed Domain Serene Wine Lounge. The club charges a $25 fee for membership that offers benefits at both locations and now serves about 2,000 wine club members. Bend Bulletin
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The 2026 Deschutes County Commission race is set to be unique as four of the five seats will be on the ballot in November and candidates can file starting Sept 11—two new seats were added by a 2024 ballot measure. Diverse candidates are stepping forward while voters will later decide on a district measure in 2028 that may reshape county representation. Bend Bulletin
