- ➤ Music fans gathered at The Commonwealth Pub on Sunday for the free Wake and Bake reggae event that featured local bands, live art and vendors while building excitement for Reggae Rise Up Oregon, set for June 12-14 in Redmond. - ➤ Lord Huron will perform with Fightmaster at Hayden Homes Amphitheater on Thursday, June 4 — doors open at 5:30 p.m. — with tickets starting at $79.50 at 344 SW Shevlin Hixon Drive. Bend Bulletin

- ➤ Pollinator Pathway Bend hosted its fourth annual plant giveaway Saturday morning at Bear Creek Elementary School. Nearly 2,000 native plants were distributed to support local wildlife and target neighborhoods (Orchard Park, Franklin’s Corner, and Purcell) with help from local partners. Bend Bulletin
- ➤ Central Oregon residents can drop off yard debris during FireFree events from June 5 through June 13 at transfer stations in Redmond, Sisters + La Pine. Fire officials warn to keep dry bark mulch and other flammable materials away from structures as temperatures rise. KTVZ

- ➤ Summit’s Jude Jarrett was named Athlete of the Meet after winning the 200-meter race on Saturday at Hayward Field (he ran 21.71 seconds to edge out three competitors) and scored 19 points across four events at the state track meet. Bend Bulletin
- ➤ At Saturday’s state track championships at Hayward Field, Summit’s girls relay team won the 4x400 race in 3 minutes, 54.56 seconds. The team overcame pressure (with Hildreth clocking a decisive 56.96-second lap) to edge out Crescent Valley and Caldera. Bend Bulletin
