Good morning, Bend.

The Worthy Garden Club hosted its Spring Plant Sale to help local gardeners start their gardens with herbs, tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables.

Funds raised supported agricultural programs — including free gardening workshops — that help community members choose crops suited to the high desert climate.

BendTrails.org, a website that has offered free, community-driven mountain biking maps and trail updates for 10 years, is set to go dark May 31 as its founders seek a buyer — riders will still get updates through its active Facebook group.

The Pine Mountain wildfire near Bend was 70% contained by Sunday as crews worked to mop up residual heat in Deschutes National Forest.
