CRIME NEWS

  • Sarah Session — accused of abusing and attempting to kill her 9-year-old stepson — and her parents Gary and Paula Hardenburg, accused of helping facilitate the abuse, are scheduled to appear in court today at the Deschutes County Courthouse after being indicted and taken into custody on February 21 in Coos Bay.  KTVZ

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The City’s Accessibility Advisory Committee, Commute Options and CET will host a Walk and Roll Tour on May 8 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Hawthorne Station with a route through Juniper Park and down Franklin Ave and a reception at Dogwood at the Pine Shed food carts. CET will also host an Open House from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day to highlight new amenities and share info about transportation projects — more details will be provided at the event.  KTVZ
