- ➤ More than 500 participants gathered in Redmond Saturday at General Duffy’s Waterhole for the 14th annual Shine Together Autism Walk & Festival. The event, hosted by Central Oregon Autism Movement + Premier Community Supports, featured live music, vendors, sensory-friendly spaces, and activities that helped fund local programs for autistic individuals and their families. - ➤ On Friday, May 1, Portland-based PacifiCorp became the first utility outside California to join the CAISO extended day-ahead market, a move expected to save customers $300 million annually while boosting reliability and cutting emissions. - ➤ The Oregon Department of Transportation’s Climate Office selected companies to build 24 fast-charging electric vehicle stations along major highways, including on I-84, U.S. 101, and U.S. 20 east of Bend.
