- ➤ Bend Police said they are searching northeast Bend for two white men who fled a traffic stop late Thursday morning near Deschutes Market and Yeoman roads—one suspect is reported possibly armed, and residents in the area are urged to call 911 if they see anyone matching the description. KTVZ
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Joey Houle, general manager of Central Oregon Tree Experts, said calls for tree trimming jumped after Bend mailed a letter last month requiring homeowners to clear flammable vegetation from near their houses.
