The Deschutes Trails Coalition announced today that it is accepting applications for its Small Project Grant program to award up to $30,000 for trail projects in Deschutes County and the Deschutes National Forest (including parts of neighboring counties) with proposals due by May 22.

The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office seeks volunteer mentors for the Central Oregon Partnerships for Youth (COPY) program that pairs adults with children with an incarcerated parent.

The 3½-hour orientation is set for Saturday, April 11 and requires advanced registration.
