- ➤ Breeze Airways has launched flights from Redmond to Las Vegas that continue to Provo, Utah+ service operates on Mondays and Fridays with tickets starting at $69 each way. Bend Bulletin
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Bend is asking volunteers to help count trees as part of the new Bend Tree Project. The city will hold training in early May and teams of two to three people will record tree data using their smartphones, committing two to three hours weekly for three months. Bend Bulletin

- ➤ The Bend Park and Recreation District began a study to connect the Deschutes River Trail to National Forest recreation areas along Century Drive and Cascade Lakes Highway. - ➤ Cascades East Transit is launching a Dial-A-Ride pilot in Deschutes River Woods on May 4 to boost access to jobs, healthcare and essential services. The service will help residents in need by providing flexible, curb-to-curb rides (including seniors). Central Oregon Daily
