- ➤ Oregon Wild released a report titled 'Looting Oregon's Treasures' detailing 10 endangered public lands including four in Central Oregon (Tumalo Creek watershed, Newberry Caldera, McKenzie River headwaters and Lookout Mountain) facing risks if key protections are repealed. - ➤ The City of Bend announced an interactive campaign to celebrate 100 years of water service that will run throughout 2026. The campaign features seasonal activities on water history and conservation and invites residents to join various community events. KTVZ

- ➤ Mt. Bachelor received 17 inches of snow last week and expects 3 to 4 inches more by Friday morning, prompting teams to work on reopening the Northwest chairlift today—several events, including Nordic championships, demos and a beer giveaway, are set for the weekend while Hoodoo reopened Thursday. - ➤ Today, the Oregon Interscholastic Ski Racing Association hosts the girls 5K freestyle at 2 p.m. and boys 5K at 2:45 p.m. at Mt. Bachelor Nordic Center; Saturday will feature 4K classic and relay races with an awards ceremony at 2:15 p.m. at Century Center (30 SW Century Drive). Bend Bulletin
- ➤ Bend’s Hunter Hess will compete at the Olympic men’s halfpipe in Milan Cortina after a storm in Livigno delayed Thursday’s qualifications to today at 1:30 a.m. Pacific, and finals are set for today at 10:30 a.m. as weather is expected to improve. Bend Bulletin
