- ➤ Central Oregon Symphony hosts its Winter Concert this weekend at Mountain View High School (2755 NE 27th St.) in Bend with winners of its Young Artists Competition like pianist Avery Armstrong and violinists Aaron Ma and William Yeh soloing. - ➤ More than 50 COCC students in rural health care training programs will have their tuition covered by a $224K grant from the Central Oregon Health Council, with funding set to expand health sciences programs at Jefferson County high schools and pay for student field placements through November 2030. - ➤ Ochoco National Forest and Crooked River National Grassland are hiring seasonal employees for the upcoming recreation season.
