- ➤ Bend will host a busy week of live music starting Thursday, Jan. 22, with open mic nights at The Winery at Manzanita and band shows at The Lot and Tower Theatre. - ➤ AAA reported that gas prices remained steady across the West Coast while Bend’s price rose slightly by one penny to $3.24 per gallon. Overall, Oregon’s price dropped two cents to $3.33 per gallon, and the national price held at $2.82 a gallon. KTVZ

- ➤ The Oregon State Fire Marshal is urging residents to follow home fire safety tips during Community Risk Reduction Week from Jan 19 – 25 as Governor Tina Kotek declared the observance.
