- ➤ Community members in central Oregon raised funds for 14-month-old Braxton Twyman, who needs a heart transplant, at General Duffy’s Waterhole on Sunday. The fundraiser (including a raffle, car show and poker bike run) saw local businesses add $1 per item sold to support him. Central Oregon Daily

- ➤ Oregon lawmakers are proposing new rules for AI chatbots to protect children’s mental health, as the bill would require companies to monitor chats for self-harm signals and ban explicit content for minors (annual safety reports would be submitted to the state health agency). The Oregonian
