  • Ida’s Cupcake Cafe closed its Galveston Avenue location Saturday after an unexpected family emergency led the owner to focus on the Division Street store in Bend. Staff are moving to Bend and Redmond locations (customers are encouraged to visit the remaining shops).  Central Oregon Daily

  • Developers have scaled back the Timber Yards project near the Old Mill District and Box Factory by cutting units from 1,600 to about 1,000–1,350 and reducing commercial space amid rising costs and market uncertainty, with plans featuring four story walkup apartments and one six story podium building awaiting Council approval.  Bend Bulletin
