About this event
Step into the world of Guardian of the Land for an immersive evening exploring Indigenous perspectives on Sasquatch (Isteyehe), storytelling, and our relationship with the natural world. Join filmmaker LaRonn Katchia for a screening of Guardian of the Land followed by a audience conversation about Indigenous knowledge, oral traditions, land, and the stories that have been passed down through generations. The evening will also feature a powerful live performance by Acosia Red Elk, who embodies the spirit of Bigfoot (Isteyehe) through movement and traditional Plateau-inspired regalia, including a custom dark buckskin dress and carved mask. A story of land, culture, and Isteyehe --- Event Details: https://bendbeavscentral.osucascades.edu/rsvp?id=2136783
